Worth the Annual Fee started with a simple frustration: most credit card review sites never actually answer the question in their own headlines. They'll walk you through a card's perks in glowing detail, then quietly skip the part where they tell you whether it's actually worth the fee once you account for how people really spend, redeem, and use their cards.
We built this site to give a direct answer to that question — the one most reviews bury under marketing language and best-case-scenario math. Every review here is built around one goal: cutting through the noise so you can make a confident decision in a few minutes, not a few hours.
That commitment means we review cards we don't earn a commission from, and we give low ratings to cards that don't deliver — even when we do earn a commission from them. If a card isn't worth its fee, we say so.
